Levitate Finland: A Technological and Artistic Exploration of 3D Asymmetrical Magnetic Fields

Project And Research Objectives: There are several technical, aesthetic, and perceptual gaps related to levitation visual installations, especially when linking them to art. The objective of this project is to research and develop a large-scale dynamic magnetic levitation installation that explores the intersection of art, engineering science, and cognitive perception.

The project will address the technical challenges of levitating asymmetrical complex or heavy objects while creating a visually immersive experience that engages the public through the implementation of optical illusions concepts similar to the hollow-face effect. This installation will leverage advanced 3D spatial magnetic fields with impact depth control systems, machine learning algorithms, and adaptive feedback loops to stabilize the levitation and enhance the dynamic interactivity and artistic expression.
